Fairhope Pedestrian & Bicycle Committee 1. Call to order. 2. Review/Approve July Meeting minutes. 3. Administrative Items-(All)-forward link to Triangle Property info to Bryan Flowers, forward LCI e-mail to Dione Huesel. Dione will locate funding to pay the class stipend and expenses, forward Committee letter of support for SS4A grant to support initial development of SS4A plan. 4. Open Action Items: a. Johnnie Prewitt, as a non-committee member, volunteered to write a memo to Katie Bolton officially requesting the Fairhope Cycling Project to order bike racks for locations #1-2.-(Katie/Johnnie Prewitt) b. Rosalie Stromme to send Richard Johnson a list of locations #3-6 to have these six racks installed when they arrive.-(Rosalie) c. Chris Riley will formerly request via memo to the Traffic Safety Control Committee that a Traffic Study be conducted by the Police Department regarding this situation between Gambino’s and American Legion.-(Chris R.) 5. Status of SHARRO markings installa�on on S. Mobile St between Fels & Pier Sts-(Rosalie/Richard Johnson) 6. ETA for new Bike Racks and Bicycle Repair Sta�on for Pier St-(Rosalie/Richard Johnson) 7. Update on Blue Island & Fairwood Blvd Sidewalks Projects-(Richard Johnson) 7. Update on Triangle Property development project-(Ka�e/Richard Johnson/Nicole Love) 8. Baldwin County Connec�vity Plan Update-(Morgan/Dione Heusel) 9. BCTB Bike to School Workshops-(Bill/Dione Heusel) 10. Safe Streets & Roads for All (SS4A) Program grant application-(Gary/Nicole Love) 11. “Open Forum” discussion of any topics not on the agenda. Back Burner (BB) Items: • Working Waterfront Project-(Chris R. & Chris K.) • Comprehensive Land Use Plan Presentations-(Gary) • Complete Streets Resolution-(Bill) • Bicycle Friendly & Safe Community Application Status On Hold Pending Complete Streets Implementation-On Hold • Wayfinding Signage update-On Hold Next Month’s Meeting will be on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023-Fairhope Public Library Board Room, Second Floor.
