saidshehasbeenaresidentfor32yearsinthisneighborhoodandshewouldnotdoanythingtohurttheneighborhood.Shesaidthetrailerisoncountypropertyandshewilluseitforsomethingelseifthedaycareisapproved.Shesaidthatshedoesnothavethesewagehookeduponthecountyproperty,assomepeoplebelieve,thatsheboughtaseptictankandthattheguysheboughtitfromalsocameanddroppeditonthecountypropertybutithasnotbeenhookedup,sheisgoingthrutheproperchannels,itwillbeputonapadandfieldlineswillbeputin;shewouldnotdoanythingtodeterioratetheneighborhood,sheisalsoasticklerforrulesandregulations.Mr.LewisAgeespokesayingtheyhavetriedtodonicethingsinthecommunityandtheydonotwishtoseecommercialventurescomein.Mr.Walkerreadwhatuseswerepermittedasspecialexception,pointingoutthatthisisausepermitted.Mrs.Johnsonsaidshewouldnotbechangingtheneighborhoodthatthesepeoplehadbusinessesinthearea.Mr.Ageesaidheisnotchallengingtheboard’sauthorityonlywishtopreservetheneighborhood.RonnieLanghamspokesayinghisonlydisagreementiswiththetrailerthatwasputnexttohishouse.BobLunsfordspokesayingthispropertycameinasR-1and‘pointedoutthatwehavenoauthorityoutsidethecitylimits,cannotdoanything.Mr.Walkeraskedforanyoneinfavorofthis,WalterJohnson,Jr.spokeandsaidthatMrs.Johnsonappreciatestheneighborhood,watcheditgrow,thatshewilldoexactlyasshesaysshewilldo.thatsheisjusttryingtomakealivingforherselfnow.Mr.Walkercalledforanyquestions.Mrs.Johnsonsaidshehadaskedherneighborsaboutwhatsheplannedtodoandtheydidnotobject.Theboardclearedupthatthedaycarewastheonlythingbeingaskedforat635S.Inglesideandwouldbeabuildingthatshebuildsandputsonheracrelot..Mr.Ageesaid2churches,1beautyparlor/barbershopweregrandfatheredin.ALeeMcGruespokesayinghehasbeenthere60yearsandquestionedtheseptictankshewasproposingtoputinandwhatcityrequirementswere-Bobsaidthesamespecificationsasthecounty.Mr.Walkersaidhewouldentertainamotion,CharlieSeniormovedtodenythespecialexceptionuse,RobertVanIderstinesecondedandmotioncarriedunanimouly.Case#569ButlerSheldon-10ftsideyardvarianceat304NicholsStreetMr.SheldonspokesayingthattheyarecurrentlylivinginatwobedroomonebathhouseandthattheyhavealineoftreesscreeningtheBooneLaneproperty.Hewasaskedwhyhechosethissideandhesaidheonlyhad10ft.ontheoppositesideoftheproperty.BobsaidtheonlyobservationhehadwasthehousesonBooneLanewere35ft.thatthispropertyiswoodedatthistime,suggestedthescreeningberetainedonhislot.Mr.Walkercalledforanyoneinoppostiontothisorwishingtospeak,therewasnoone.Hecalledforamotionandsaidwecouldapprove,denyorapprovewithrestrictions.ClaudePuckettmovedtoapprovethevarianceasrequestedwiththerestrictionputonitthatthescreeningwouldremain.RobertVanIderstinesecondedandmotioncarriedunanimously.-Mr.WalkerannouncedthatthecaseinvolvingRutherfordSmithandhisrequestforabattingcageatcornerofGreenoRoadandUSHwy98hadbeenwithdrawn.Bobhadrevisedtheformusedforappealsonadministrativedecisionsandspecialexceptionusesandaskedtheboardtoreviewandifnoobjectionswouldliketostarttouse.ClaudePuckettmovedtoadoptnewformsaspresented,JoePettiessecondedandmotioncarriedunanimously.Therebeingnofurtherbusinessmeetingwasdulyadjourned.
