and Tommie Werneth Consultant for #04 project.
Russ reported to the Board that he, Trish Nelson, and
Mason McGowin had gone to the 1st Miss Natl Bk in Hattiesburg
as mortgage holder of the present F.B.O. at the Fairhope
Municipal Airport upon hearing of a federal bankruptcy
hearing against the former FBO Phil Bass. That they had
talked with a Bob DiMiestre and he explained that S & H

Aero. That they wanted assurance that things at the airport
were not going to be auctioned off by federal government.
That they had very nice visit and were pleased to find out
the workings behind Fairhope Aero. It was opinion of all
that someone from the Board should be present to represent
the City's interest at the hearing, preferably Jim Reid
the City Attorney. Russ to contact him and see if he
can attend.
Tommie Werneth reported that we had mailed out letters
to Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer, Sr; Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer, Jr.;
and Patsy Spitzer Dean. That as of yet we have not re-

them 30 days to respond but we were hoping for something
before then. The Board asked to be notified when she
heard to see if a meeting would be necessary.
M.L. Aust reported to the Board on how far he had gotten
with the #04 project and meeting the projected 11/17/84 date.
That he had hit a snag with the drainage but will try to
work it out. Further discussion led to the Board setting
a date of 11/29/84 as meeting to approve plans & specifications
on the project.
Russ presented to the Board a letter he had from F.A.A. saying
they approved the Airport Layout Plan sent in by M.L. and he
was presenting the same for the airport file.
There being no further business, meeting was duly adjourned.
