Russ related conversation with Jack Edwards earlier this

that we felt we should have a new runway. Russ said that
the Congressman indicated that he was going to meet with
Sec. Dole and that he would be requesting the full project.
Trisha reported to the Board that Meg Cosby has been out
of town and then she was out of pocket but that she and
Buzz would take a copy of the rules & regulations out to
Meg Cosby as soon as possible and that it would be explained
that within 30 to 60 days this would go into effect.
M.L. brought up the condition of the VASI lights on the
runway and that we needed a maintenance plan for the upkeep
on these things, that neither the lessee or the City kept
up these on a regular basis. Further he related that to
put the runway in proper working order would run the board
