HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-14-1981 Regular Meeting1.'7 3 The Airport Board of the City of Fairhope met December 14, 1981 at the City Administration Building, 387 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope Alabama at 10:30 A.M. Present were Donald Coogan, Chairman; members Russ Kilgore Mac McCawley, Jim Gaston, and Buzz Colling. Also M.L. Aust consulting engineer and Phil Bass Mr. Coogan asked Mr. Aust to talk to the Board at this time about the ADAP-03 final payment and close-out plans for the project. He discussed the ad on completion of work and a letter he had from Mr. Fruzetti about the completion date. He remarked that we were under a completion date, not calendar date and all time - had been documented. M.L. said he would mail letter to Fruzetti that will clear the matter up. M.L. told the Board that the updated Title Opinion on parcel I was not ready at this time. And he cannot send in final pay request until we get it. At this time M.L. went over the invoices he had as follows: Graham's final pay request - 58,028.-- Invoice #068124, M.L. Aust ......... 3,150.00 Invoice #108110, M.L. Aust .......... 3,850.00 Invoice #118120, M.L. Aust......... 475.75 Invoice #118119, M.L. Aust ......... 3,104.00 J.E. Gaston moved to pay these invoices as presented, Russ Kilgore seconded and motion carried. Russ at this time presented a cost item for $350.00 on work done on the runway threshold repair McKenzie Bulldozing. J.E. Gaston moved to pay this, seconded by C.O. McCawley, motion carried. There was a bill from the Eastern Shore Coder on completion of project ad for $35.76 J.E. Gaston moved for payment, seconded by C.O. McCawley motion carried. After further discussion about the project, the Board voted on motion by Russ Kilgore, seconded by-J.E. Gaston, to have M.L. submit the final pay request from F.A.A. At this time Mr. Coogan went over the Board points about procedures, preceding events to clear up questions he had . Russ brought to the Board's attention that Phil Bass wished to con- struct a hangar for storage 60' x 80'. Building to be identical to what already there. On area where there is an existing slab. Mr. McCawley moved to hold this over Lentil next meeting, J.E. Gaston seconded and motion carried with Russ Kilgore abstaining. Meeting was duly adjourned. Note* All bills to be paid when money received from F.A.A.
