Aust. Russ told the Board the change orders that had been approved and reviewed same with the Board. They were as follows: #7 #8-Flumes $2808.28 #9 - the contract price for fencing $11,287.74 He also reported that the contract was increased 21 days. He remarked that we could not accept the fencing as it is now that they would have to come back and fix it, as you cannot close it by hand. He remarked that we needed to get together with Phil Bass on the time gates to determine what time to lock same. The Board discussed meeting out at the Airport in a couple of weeks and having a punch list at that time. The test well that the City dug was discussed, and the permanent well planned. The Board approved on motion by J.E. Gaston, seconded by C.O. McCawley the 4th pay request of the contractor in the amount of $124,966.04. At this time Phil Bass requested that he be allowed to construct a 100 X 100 building on an existing slab of the old administration building. This to be used mainly for storage. He remarked that he was in a bind financially but needed the building. He had a price quote on what a metal building would cost. Much discussion led to J.E. Gaston giving tacit approval and between this date and Monday getting a meats & bounds description. The Board also discussed a payment for Mr. Aust and tentative approval was given subject to invoices being presented. There being no further business meeting was duly adjourned.
