HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-07-1980 Regular Meeting'V/ I. i 1. 15 The Airport Board of the City of Fairhope met November 7, 1980 at 2:30 p.m. at the City Administration Building, 387 Fairhope Avenue Fairhope, Alabama Those present: Chairman Russ Kilgore; members Mac McCawley and Jim Gaston A discussion was held on the installation of an electric fence with limited access at the Airport. All members felt there is a definite need of this. Russ remarked that there is a possibility that this can be included under the present ADAP-03 project. Mac McCawley moved that we go ahead with trying to get it if we can get it at 10%, J.E. Gaston seconded and motion carried. The following bills were approved: City Electric $1,026.87 - Change out rotating beacon J.E. Gaston moved Mac McCawley seconded, motion carried Eastern Shore Courier -Legal Ad J.E. Gaston moved, Mac McCawley seconded, motion carried S.A. Graham Co., Inc. Const. Est No. 1 - 73,615.50 J.E. Gaston moved, Mac McCawley seconded, motion carried Invoices of Appraisers and Review Appraiser, Project -03 2 checks - $980.00 and $770.00 Invoices for Engineering Services - $3,393.97 and 1.,006.50 (Of the 3,393.97 2 checks - 1,459.41 and 1,934.56) In the motion for payment Mr. McCawley suggested Mr. Aust find typing services at a Copies of the bills attached to the minutes. Russ reported that the $50,000.00 had been received from the State and the short-term mortgage for the land had been paid off on the reimbursable land -03 project.
