Aust Consulting Engineer. The Meeting was held to discuss the Airport's condition now after the hurricane, and Mr. Bass' plans for same. There was a lengthy discussion on the proposed new administra- tion building and new hanger and the location of these. It was decided that the temporary area on the South end of the ramp area now housing a balloon building with concrete floor will not be used for other than open ramp when the new buildings are built. Mr. Aust asked that a drawing of the sewer lines on the new modtfica-- tion building on the North end of the ramp be submitted by the time this construction is started. Mr. Bass agreed to this. Also, we need to determine if we can do with the land we have now or if we need to acquire more. It seems that Mr. Bass has bigger and better plans for the use of the land he already has leased now. This will be taken under advisement for further study. Mr. Bass was informed that water would be available to the Airport as soon as the lines could be run. lie asked about gas. He was asked to find out the proposed useage and get back with the Board, that it is not available at this time. Mr. Bass offered that he has hired an Architect and that he told him that he had just so much space to work with and that was what he would have to come up with plans on. He has not received anything back yet. So he did not have any definite drawings to show. Plans and site location for a new "modification building" were presented and discussed. F.A.A. had previously given the approval and waiver for the building and loca- tion on the North end of the ramp. The following motions were taken to accomplish work necessary to continue rebuilding at Airport: Jim Gaston put in the form of a motion approving the construction as discussed, Mac McCawley seconded and motion carried unanimously. Mr. McCawley moved, Mr. Gastbfc seconded for preliminary approval of the location of the administration building, being a two story complex to be located in the same general area of the destroyed building. Motion carried. Mr. Gaston moved and Mr. McCawley seconded for approval of the location of additional proposed hangar of 100 X 120 to be located between administra- tion building and existing hanger "lean to office" if it can be fitted in that space. Motion carried. 134 Mr. Gaston moved, Mr. McCawley seconded sending an application to F.A.A. for waiver for administration building and proposed hangers to read "building will not exceed present safety zone height intrusions. It was also discussed, the possibility of Mr. Bass acquiring more land under the same terms of the present lease. Russ Kilgore said he would work up on meats and bounds and this could be negotiated with Bass Aviation. Jim Gaston moved to make this land available to Bass Aviation Mac McCawley seconded and motion carried unanimously. Russ Kilgore mentioned that a F.A.A.-long range planning grant seemed favorable at this time. He asked the Board's opinion on asking Aust to prepare and submit a request for same. Mac McCawley moved and Jim Gaston seconded authorizing Mr. Aust to proceed with this, motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before it, meeting was duly adjourned.
