As a core initiative of the Parking Authority, this campaign is integral to the ongoing improvement of parking accessibility in the heart of Fairhope. The campaign aims to maximize the use of the Arts Alley parking facilities, promoting it as a safe, covered, and clean option for both residents and visitors. In addition to the ample parking provided, a free downtown shuttle service operates six days a week, offering convenient transport from Arts Alley to various downtown destinations. To catch a ride, simply call 251-850-6348. A recent parking study conducted between May and July 2024, which included 108 surveys, revealed that while 90 spots are reserved for hotel guests, 150 are open to the public. On average, 65 spaces remain available at any given time. With surveys conducted at multiple times throughout the day, this initiative hopes to relieve parking stress and ensure that “We Have a Spot for You” in downtown Fairhope.
