The City Council met in an Agenda Meeting at 5:30 p.m.,
Fairhope Municipal Complex Council Chamber,
161 North Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama 36532,
on Monday, 22 July 2019.
Present were Council President Pro Tempore Jay Robinson, Councilmembers:
Jimmy Conyers, Robert Brown, and Kevin Boone, Mayor Karin Wilson, City Attorney
Marcus E. McDowell, and City Clerk Lisa A. Hanks. Council President Jack Burrell was
absent.
Council President Pro Tempore Robinson called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m.
The City Council reviewed and discussed the agenda for their meeting to be held today at
6:00 p.m. Agenda Item Number 16: a resolution that the Governing Body of the City of
Fairhope hereby rejects hereby rejects Bid Number 033-19 for Class III Reinforced
Concrete Pipe for the Public Works Department; and authorizes the City to negotiate a
contract with the one bidder, pursuant to the Code of Alabama 1975, Section 39-2-6(b)
was explained in detail by Public Works Director Richard Johnson.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was
duly adjourned at 5:42 p.m.
