10 1 5. AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE COURT COSTS TO PROVIDE FOR
ASSESSMENT OF ADDITIONAL COURT COSTS TO BE PAID INTO A CORRECTIONS
FUND. IN ORDER TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION COUNCILMEMBER DUCK MOVED

MUNICIPALITIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD WHICH HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO
TAKE PART IN THE FINALS OF THE NATIONS IN BLOOM COMPETITION IN MADRID.
NATIONS IN BLOOM `97 IS AN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION WHICH SEEKS TO
PROMOTE AND RECOGNIZE THE VALUE OF INVESTING IN THE LANDSCAPE OF
OUR TOWNS AND CITIES. THE ANNUAL COMPETITION HAS FOUR CATEGORIES
BASED UPON POPULATION SIZE. IT IS A HONOR THAT FAIRHOPE IS THE ONLY
CITY IN THE UNITED STATES TO BE SELECTED AS A FINALIST.
