NOTICE AND CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to be held at
the Fairhope Municipal Complex Council Chamber on Thursday,
12 September 1985, at 5:00, p.m., for the purpose of
designating "applicant's agent" as per FEMA regulations and
to review budget revisions of the City's 1984-1985 Budget.
CONSENT TO HOLDING OF MEETING
The undersigned members of the City Council of the City
of Fairhope, Alabama, do hereby acknowledge service of the
Notice and Call of Special Meeting hereinabove set forth and

*Councilman Barney L. Shull could not be present due to a death in his

The City Council, City of.Fairhope, met in special session
at 5:00, p.m., Fairhope Municipal Complex Council Chamber,
161 North Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama 36532, on
Thursday, 12 September 1985.
The purpose of this meeting was to adopt a FEMA resolution
naming Applicant's Agent and to review 84-85 Budget's revisions.
Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers Roy C.
White, Trisha Nelson, David E. Bishop, and Michael A. Ford;
City Attorney James Reid and City Clerk Evelyn Phillips.
Councilman Barney L. Shull was absent.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Nix called the meeting
to order.
Councilman White introduced, and moved for the adoption of,
Resolution No. 164-85, a resolution requested by FEMA naming
t e City Clerk as the City's agent for the purpose of requesting
aid from FEMA for 750 of the costs involved in damage caused
by Hurricane Elena. Seconded by Councilwoman Nelson, motion
passed unanimously.
Councilmembers were given a copy of the current year's
budget showing some revisions of estimated revenues and expen-
ditures after 10 months of operations. Councilman Bishop
moved to adopt the revised budget as presented. Seconded by
Councilwoman Nelson, motion passed unanimously.
Meeting was duly adjourned.
