We, the undersigned members of the Fairhope City Council,
do hereby waive notice of a special called meeting to be held
30 October 1980 at 5:00 p.m., City Administration Building,
387 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, for the purpose of
conducting business relative to the Waterline (FHA) Extension
Project.

The City Council, City of Fairhope, met in special session at 5:00 p.m.
City Administration Building, 387 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, on
Thursday,'30 October 1980.
The purpose of this meeting was to conduct business relative to the
Waterline (FHA) Extension Project.
Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers David Ed Bishop,
Trisha. Nelson, and Sam E. Box; City Clerk Evelyn Phillips.
Councilman Box moved to rescind the $2,530,000 Loan Resolution of
October 8, 1979. Seconded by Councilwoman Nelson, motion passed by the
following vote: AYE - Mayor Nix and Councilmembers Box, Nelson, and Bishop
NAY - none. '
Councilman Box moved to rescind the Operating Budget of October 8,
1979. Seconded by Councilman Bishop, motion passed by the following vote:
AYE - Mayor Nix and Councilmembers Box, Bishop, and Nelson. NAY - none.
Councilman Bishop moved to adopt a new Loan Resolution of $2,192,000.
Seconded by Councilwoman Nelson, motion passed by the following vote:
AYE - Mayor Nix and Councilmembers Box, Nelson, and Bishop. NAY - none.
Councilman Box moved to adopt a new Operating Budget. Seconded by
Councilman. Bishop, motion passed by the following vote: AYE - Mayor Nix,
and Counci mThers Box, Nelson, and Bishop. NAY - none.
Councilman Bishop moved to authorize the Mayor to negotiate the
temporary financing for this Waterline Project. Seconded by Councilman Box,
motion passed by the following vote: AYE -Mayor Nix and Councilmembers
Box, Bishop, and Nelson. NAY -none.
Councilman Box moved to approve payment of $20,000 Invoice from
1Nbore Engineering Company as per contract. Seconded by Councilman Bishop,
motion passed by the following vote: AYE - Mayor Nix and Councilmembers
Box, Bishop, and Nelson. NAY - none.
