WE, THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS OF THE FAIRHOPE CITY COUNCIL DO
HEREBY WAIVE NOTICE OF A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING TO BE HELD
APRM-28, 1978 AT 5:30 P M , AT TIC CITY ADMINISTRATION
BUILDING , 387 FAIRHOPE AVENUE, FAIRHOPE , ALABAMA FOR REASONS
OF PERSONNEL.
STATE OF ATABAMA
The City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama met in Special Session on
Friday, April 28, 1978, at 5:00 p.m., at the City Administration Building,
387 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope, Alabama; with the following Members present:
Mayor James P. Nix, Councilman David E. Bishop, Councilman Henry G. Bishop,
Councilman Jack A. Stipes, Councilman Sam E. Box, Councilman Billy D. Wiggins.
The purpose of this meeting was to set the starting wages for new employees.
And a wage increase as listed below.
Motion made by Mr. Henry G. Bishop, Seconded by Mr. Ed Bishop to introduce
the following resolution.
Be it resolved by the City Council, City of Fairhope that the starting wage
for employees be and is hereby set at $3.00 per hr. To increase all employees
that are below the $3:00 level at this time and to increase the following
list of employees by twenty-five cents per hour.- effective April 19, 1978:
Cecil Rayborn, Vandy Dale, Willie Wilson, Phillip Holman, Ronald Davidson,
Jolrmy Keller, and Don Odom.
Upon being put to a vote the motion carried unanimous.
