HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-18-1969 Special MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN We, the undersigned members of the Fairhope City Council, hereby waive notice of the calling of a special meeting of the Counil for the purpose of making appointment to the Industrial Board and the transfer of funds to the Fairhope Golf and Recreation Facilities Board, and do consent that said meeting be held at the City Hall, Friday, July 18, 1969 at 5:00 P.M. in the City of Fairhope, Alabama. i IPAIR,i' " STATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in special session at the City Hall, Friday, July 18, 1969 at 5:00 P.M. with the following mebbers present: Mayor R. C. Macon, Councilmen: James P. Nix, Henry G. Bishop, John A. Robertson and Sam E. Box. Counc man Robert H. Cowen absent. Each member present signed waive of notice of the calling and ho ing of a special meeting. The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting was to make appointments to the Industrial Development Board and appropriate fund to the Fairhope Golf and Recreatioxn Facilities Board. Motion by Councilman Nix seconded by Councilman Box that Mr. Charles Earle be appointed to the Industrial Development Board, replacing Mr. Jack Thomas, for a term ending January, 1971. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Bishop seconded by Councilman Nix that Mr. John Robertson be appoirt ed to the Industrial Development Board. replacing Mr. Richard Lacey, for a term ending January, 1973. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Box seconded by Councilman Robertson that Dr. F. H. Dietze be appointed to the Industrial Develpment Board, replacing Dr. T. H.' Yancey, for a period ending January, 1975- Motion carried. Hotion by Councilman Bishop seconded by Councilman Box that Ihr. Richard Lacey be appointed as Attorney representing the Industrial Development Board as recommenced by the Board. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Robertson seconded by Councilman Nix that the City appropriate $5000.00 from Electric Funds to the Fairhope Golf and Recreation Facilities Board. Motion carried.
