HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-16-1969 Special MeetingJ7 1 STATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in special session at the City Hall, Friday, May 16, 1969 at 5:00 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor R. C. Macon, Councilmen: H. G. Bishop, Sam E. Box, R. H. Cowen, James P. Nix and John Robertson. Each member signed waive of notice of calling of a special meetinA. Motion by Councilman Cowen seconded by Councilman Robertson that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED that Councilman H. G. Bishop and R. H. Cowen with Mayor R. C. Macon be authorized to negotiate for the pur- chase of land owned by Mr. Bradley on Fish River for additional Park Area and are further authorized to take a 90 day option on said land and report their action to this Council for acceptance. Motion carried. There being no further business, motion was duly made and sec that the meeting adjourn.
