HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-02-1968 Special MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in special session at the City Hall, Friday, August 2, 1968 at 5:00 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor Macon, Councilmen: Stipes, Gaston and Stine. Councilmen Spader and Reynolds being absent. Each .member present signed waiver of notice and calling of special meeting. Mayor Macon called the meeting to order stating that the purpose of the meeting was for taking necessary action on sale of gas line to Daphne. Motion by JCouncilman Stine seconded by Councilman Gaston that the Mayor be authorized tolsign transfer of natural gas distributio system located within the corporate limits of the Town of Daphne, as presented by the Attorneys, to the Twon of Daphne. Upon being put to vote the following vote was recorded: For: Mayor Macon, Councilmen: Stipes, Gaston and Stine. Against: None. Councilman Spader and Reynolds being absent. Motion carried. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned on mihio by Councilman Stapes seconded by Councilman Stine and carried. Approved Mayor Attest s City Clerk JULY BILLS. 1968. GENERAL FUND. Witness our hands this the 2nd day of August, 1968.
