HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-07-1964 Unadjourned MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in unadjourned session at the City Hall, Tuesday, July 7, 1964 at 10:00 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor Schneider, Council- men Boone, Gaston, Nelson and Spader. Councilman Poser being absent. Motion by Councilman Nelson seconded by Councilman Boone that the following REsolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE$ ALABAMA, that the City be authorized to pay the six :(6) election officials at the Public Referendum Election, held July 79 1964, the sum of Eight (8) Dollars per person, as is paid election officials on Municipal elections. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following election officials be commended for doing a splendid job: Mrs. Louise K. Peters Mrs. Jane W. Scott Mr. S. A. Sandt Mr. Claude W. Arnold Mr. Crail J. Dougherty Mr. Michael A. Ford. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Councilman Boone seconded by Councilman Nelson that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
