COUNTY OF BALDWIN
The Town Council of the Town of Fairhope met in
regular session at the Town Hall Tuesday August
27, 1946 at 7:30 P.M. with the following members
present: Mayor, Howard Ruge, Councilmen: J. H.
Bennett, C. A. Gaston, H. P. Kamper, W. 0. Keeble
and J. n. Stimpson.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting and
the continued minutes of the meeting of August
21st were read and approved.
Motion by Councilman J. 0. Stimpson seconded by
Councilman C. A. Gaston that the application of
J. B. Dismukes for building permit on Lot 19
Block 16 uolanta be allowed. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman J. 0. Stimpson seconded
by Councilman H. P. Kamper that the Mayor be
directed to execute a lease with the Fairhope
Single Tax Corp. for the N. E 4 of S. E 1 of
S. V0 L. Section 17-6-2, except the E 260 ft.
of the N. 200 ft. thereof, for a Municipal
athletic Field. Motion carried.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting
adjourn. Motion carried.
