HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-13-1946 Regular MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The Town Council of the Town of Fairhope met in regular session at the Town Hall Tuesday August 13, 1946, at 7:30P.M. with the following members present: Mayor, Howard Ruge, Councilmen: J. H. Bennett, C. A. Gaston,-H. P. Kamper, W. 0. Keeble and J. 0. Stimpson. The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. P. Kamper seconded by Councilman J. 0. Stimpson that the application of Riveria Utilities to erect sign and repair canopy in front of their building on Fairhope Avenue be allowed. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman J. H. Bennett seconded by Councilman VJ. 0. Keeble that the application of Carl Kramer to erect sign at*bowling alley be allowed. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman H. P. Kamper seconded by Councilman J. 0. Stimpson that the Town enter into a 10 year lease with Phil Brady for a site in Block 23 Volanta. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman J. H. Bennett seconded by Councilman C. A. Gaston that the Town continue their $40.00 per month contribution to the Baldwin County Welfare Department for the fiscal year begining October 1, 1946.
