BE IT RESOLVED: by the Town Council of the Town of Fairhope,
that there be and is hereby levied for General purposes: for
the year of 1941, a tax of one-half of one percentum of the
value of all property and subject to taxation as assessed for
State Taxation during the preceeding year in the Town of Fair -
hope.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that there be and is hereby levied
for the year 1941-for the purpose of acquiring,installing
and maintaining street lights and fire -fighting equipment
and for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, maintaining
and improving public buildings, parks and other public pro-
perty. A special tax of one-half of one percentum of the
value of all property and subjects of taxation in the Town
of Fairhope as assessed for State taxation during the pre-
ceeding year.
A committee was appointed by the Mayor -composed of. -Howard
Ruge, Sam Dyson and C.A. Gaston to serve on Clinic project
with committees from civic clubs.
It was
duly moved and
seconded that the meeting adjourn.
