The following resolution was introduced by C. A. Gaeton,who
moved its adoption, motion was seconded by J. 0. Stimpson. The reso-
lution was placed upon its passage and unanimously adopted.
39 IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OFTITS TOWN OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAL;A that Langston -Murphy Construction Company be granted a
extension of time fron October 23, 1935 at which date their contract
time expires, to November-15, 1935•
This ex -tension to be granted on Paving Contract Docket No. 51b2,
provided that i.t meets Wj4th approval of the Public: Forks Administratica
and that the Public Works Administration agrees not to deduct from the
grant to the sown of Fairhope the Uquidated damages that are wafved
by the Town of Yairhope.
This extension is approved on the above basis due to tbhe con-
tinuous rainy weahter e3Lperi.enced this summer, which rsinp delayed
the paving work and also due to cloud burst 'in July which destroyed
large areas of sand -clay base and which base: had to be constructed
a second time at the expense of the contractor. These base repairer
after the cloud burst were delayed due to an unusual rainy spell.

The following resolution was introduced by M. 0. Berglin, who
moved i is adoption and motion was seconded by J . 0. Stimpson, the
resolution was placed upon its passage and unanimously adopted.
BE I-T RESOLVED that Langston -Murphy Construction Company, (;on -
tractors, having completed their contract in connection with the
construction of the Sanitary Sewer System under P. W. A. Docket
No. 6762. Job D, in the town of Yairhope, Alabama, the said Town
of Yairhope does hereby accept same as being entirely completed in
accordance with contract, plans, specifications and approved changes,
and the Town dlerk is hereby instructed to notify the Federal Emergency
Administration of Public. Wotka of this acceptence and that the Town
of r'airhope is now In full possession and using the said unitary
Sewer System.

resolution was placed upon its passage and unanimously adopted.
BE IT RESOLVED that Gr4y Artesian Well Company, Contractors,
having completed their contract iin connection with the construction
of the Waterworks under P.W.A.. Docket lib. 6762, Job. A. Drilled Well for
water system in the Town of Fairhope, Alabama, the said Town of Fair.
4ope does hereby accept iame as, being entirely completed an accordance
with contract,, plans, specifications. and approved ranges, and the
Town Clerk is hereby instructed to notify the federal Tmergency� Aamin-
istration of Public Works of thi.s acceptance and that, the _Town of
Fairhope, .is nowAn full possession and using said well for its water
supply .
