The Council of the Town of Fairhope met in regular session
Monday September 2.3, 1935 with the following members.present Howard
Ruge, Mayor: M. 0. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeble, T. J. Klumpp
and J. 0. Stimpson, Councilmen.
The The minutes of the regular meeting September 9, and adjourned
meeting September 10, 1935 were approved as read.
Motion made by J. 0. Stimpson and seconded by M. 0. Berglin that
Richard Jackson be paid $6.00 per week, carried.
T. X. Klumpp,;ma.de amotion seconded by C. A. Gaston that the folldw-
ing be established as Golf rates for the coming year:
$6.00 per year for one. adult
$8.00 per year for man and wife
03.00 per year for juniors under 18 years of age
$ .50 per (calendar) day for all green fees.
Motion carried.
M. 0. Bergli.n moved that #300.00 fire insurance be placed on
the warehouse and west end of the wharf. Motion was seconded by J. 0.
itimpson and carried.
The following ordinance No. 134 was introduced by C. A. Gaston
read in fu�,l and considered by the Council., said ordinance being as
follows:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FAIRHOPE, A:LABAMA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section No. 10 of Municipal Ordinance regard-
ing Raad Tax be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2:. This ordinance shall be posted at the places and in
the manner regmired by law.
Duly adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Fairhope, Alabam
at a meeting thereof regularly held on the 41�3d day of September, 1935-

Councklmand C. A.- Gaston moved that the unanimous consent of those'
present be given for the immediate consideration of the ordinance. Notion
was seconded by Councilman W. U. Keeble. The roll was called with the
following results:
AYES: Howard Ruge, Mayor; M. 0. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeble, T. J.
Klumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, Councilmen.
NOES: None
Councilman G4, A. Gaston moved the adoption of the ordinance as read.
Motion was seconded' by Councilman M. 0. Berglin. The roll was called
with the following results:
AYES: Howard Ruge, Mayor; 1E. U. Berglin, a. A. Gaston, W. 0.. Keeble, T. J.
Klumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, Councilmen.
NOES1 None.
The Mayor thereupon declared chid motion carried and the ordinance
duly adopted.
The follo-uing ordinance No. 135 was introduced by C. A. Gaston read
in full and considered by the Council said ordinance being as follows:

BE IT ORDAINJM BY THE. TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FAIRHOPE, ALA

4 ,'',Section 1 That it shall be unlawful for any person to enter or
dry'."e any vehicle upon any% street in the. Town of Fairhope, Alabama that
is barricaded and closed to the Public.
Section 2 Any person guilty of violating this ordinance shall,be
' gpi36,tyz..oflat'mi:s4emeanor, and shall, upon conviction, be fined not less
than $10.00 nor more than $50.00 and may also be sentenaedto not less
than ten (10) z1ay more than thirty (30) days t labor for the Town in
addition to the fine.
Section 3. Any ordinance or part of ordinance in conflict with tills
ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be posted at the places and in the
manner required by law.
Duly adopted by the Town Council of the Town of 1'airhope, Alabama,
at a meeting thereof regularly held on the 23d day of September, 1935• �

Motion was secinded by Councilman M. 0. Berglin. The roll was called with
the following results:

NOES: None.
The mayor thereupon deblexed said motion carried and the ordinance
