Notion was made by Cr. 0. Stimpson and seconded by X. 0. Berglin that
an allowance of 4010.00 per month be made to the Marshal for the main-
tenance of his car. Motioncarried.
C. A. Gaston made a motion which was seconded by J. 0. Stimpson
that the Alabama Cooperative Industries be granted permission th use
the warehouse on Nest end of Pier, it to be consider§d such use shall
rid,t interfere with anyo the use for which the Town may require same, and
to be maintained in sanitary and unobjectional condition. Motion
carried.
C. A, Gaston moved that the -mayor be authorized to write a letter
legislation limiting
of protest against/the power of Municipalittes to levy tax on W#ole-
salers doing business in the city and further that he protest any limi-
tation on power of self government. A+otion was seconded by J. 0.
Stimpson and carried.
A petition regarding the traffice regulations was read.
Motion was made by C. A. Gaston seconded by J. 0. Stimpson that
the petition be received and filed and that petitioners be notified
that adequate steps have been taken for the enforcing of regulations.
Motion carriedo.
