IMMOVESIENT BONDS NOTICE IS HEREBY 01VIX ibat one the 14 day of lonta ry, 1933, at the Town Hall in the Town of Faiihope, Alabama, at 12 o'clock noon, the Town of FairhMo, will sell at L public sale on sealed bids $429000.00 of Special Assess- ment Street Im rovement•3onda, dated July lat, 1934, each in the sum of $1,000.00, with interest at 4 per cent. in- tereat payable semi-annually, $4,000.00 of said bonds be- ing due on -the first day of July in each of the years 19355 19369 19379 19389 19390 1940, 1941 and 19420 and $59000.00 of said bonds being due on the first day of July of each of the years 1943 and 19". Keehle that a re - so lution be drain and -,--sent to Sentor Hugo BLack endorseing his act in iptridueing in Congress a Health Act, which will provide adequate medical attendance for the large masses of peaple who are -on small in- comes which are in sufficient to pay for medical attendance and also the great masstwho have no income whatever. Motion carried. The following resolution was introduced by M. 0. B erglin, who moved its adoption. Motion was seconded -by C. A. Gaston . WHEREAS HERFTOMRE. Gray Artesian Well Company by M. J. Gray, sole owner and General Manager, having been the lowest responible bidder to construct a well and pump to deliver 200 gallons of water per minute to the aerator, under P. W. A. Project numbered 6762 in the Town of I'airhope and hav- 0> ing entered into contract dated yecember 13, 1934, to construct the. same., said contract having been signed by said Gray Artesean Well ti�oY Company on the part of the Contra.cto and by Howard Ruge as Mayor and Gladys Lowell as - Town Clerk on the part of the Town; and Gray Artesean Well Company have entered into and filed with the Town Clerk a"Labor Bond." and a"Performance Bond" each dated December 14, 1934, with the United States Fidelety & Guarnty Company as surety and said bonde.being in proper and legal form and conditioned as required by law and with good �.nd sugficient surety, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the said contract of Gray Artesean Well Company aforesaid the bonds above mentioned be and the same are hereby in all things approved. REGULATIONS GOVERNING WIRING OF, AND ELECTRIC SERVICED RENDERED TO BUILDINGS IN THE TOWN OF W. RH0PZ:* Wiring of new buildings, alterat.ions or additions to wiring of r ' old buildings must, be installed in an neat and workman like manner f and in accordance with the National Electric Code of the National Q Board of,Fire Underwriters, and following requirements. O� , (a) ti Customers wiring will include service entrance, service entrance wiring and main meter type type.service switch, except as noted in paragraph "K*. (C) Main Service Entrance Switch shall be accessible for maintainance and inspection by the Town at any reasonable -time of day, and shill not be located in locked porches, rooms, closets or attics. main Service Switches shall be mounted not over seven nor less than rive feet from the floor, shall be protected from the weather and shall be fastened to a substantial, seasoned wood backboard not less than ten inches wide, and extending not less than twelve inches above top or switch. Main Service Eht.rance Switch shall be square D accessible main fuse meter test type or equal. (D) The Town reserves the right to furnish the customer with out- door Breather -proof meter box, which will be installed --by the customer in the service entrance wiring as diredted by the Town, in which case, fused safety switch Square D # 9000 type or equal may be used in lieu of meter type service switch. (� ''Uifstomer shall locate service entrance at a point most Accessible to Town's supply mains and so that Town's service wires will not interfere with windows, doors, awnings or other parts of the building, or be in -reach of persons at windows, doors, porches etc. (F) Service entrance shall be located so that it will not. be neceesary for the Town to install more than on set of wire attachments on customers premises to support service wires (G) All wiring from,service entrance to main service switch shall be in continuous metal conduit of not less than one inch size and protected from corrosion by appro*ad coating of zinc, except with epplicit� approval of the Town, or by approved flexible, weather-proof service entrance cable and fittings, and shall be outside of the building. (H) Service entrance be less than No. eight(&) Brown & Sharpe wire gage'* (I) Service entrance. wiring for lighting and small applianceji loads of TuD (2) circuits or less may be two (2) wire, for more than Two (2) eircuits,aball be Three (3) wires. (r) Town will furnish and install service wires from nearest supply mains to building. Final connection of service wires will be made by no one but an authorized emplyee of the Town. 9 z z (K) Can new Range, Water Reater or Heavy Duty Heating Appliance instalia- tion, customer will furnish and install wiring from appliances up to and including connection to main service switch, and necessary Vranch circuit equipment and wiring to connect lighting circuits with main service switch. The Town will furnish and install service wires and service entrance wiring Srom nearest supply mains up to and includ- ing main service switch. entrance fZ) There existing service wires and/or service/wiring are in poor condition, or are of wire size such that excessive voltage loss occurs at the customers maximum load, then to insure good service to the customer and for the protection of the Town's equipmen, the 'sown reserves the right to require new and adequate service entrance vA rirg to be installed by the customer, provided that Town furnish and in- stall new and adequate service wires. (M) Temporary service installations requiring special service wires, meters or other work will be at the expense of the customer with charges according to material and labor required for installinland removing. in such case advance deposit sufficient to cover all con- struction expense will be required, where service furnished to a tembrary installation is used for more than six monsecutive months, it will be considered permanent and above construction charges will be refunded. (N) Uustomers shall notify the Town of proposed additions to their wir- ing and/or equipment where the addition will consist of motor load of one horse power or more, or other load of 1,000 watts or more in �, order that the Town may advise the customer a.s to the Voltage, Phase and capacity of the electric power supply available, and provide the porper size meters, service wires and transformers. Unles above noti- fication is made, the Town will hold customer liable for any damage redulting from such load increase. O Where it is not known with certainity that electric. service is available, prospective customers should consult tbLe Town in advance. (P) The Town reserves the right to refuse service to now installations or disconnect any existing installation that does notteonfaom to above requirements, and willnotbe responsible in any way for any defect in`wiring or equipment of the customer or for damage that Iis,,q result from the presence of the Town's property on the customer's premises. (R) in ALbove regulations, following terms apply. TOWN, refers to Town of rairbope or its authorized agent. CUSMIM, refers to owner of property being wired, or his authorized agent. SERVICE WIRBS, wires from Town's supply mains to building. SERVICE rMTRANCE, point of connection of customers wiring and service wires. SERVICE LNrRAANCE WIRING, wiring from service entrance to mgin service switch. An Inspector appointed by the Town Council shall enforce the foregoing regulations..
